Hello Everyone!
As with everyone here, I am very excited to help out on this intriguing mission!
A little background info on me:
I graduated from the US Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY, with a Bachelors in Marine Engineering Systems, with a concentration in Aeronautical Engineering. I then recieved my Masters of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Systems. I fancy myself an expert in thermal systems, and currently make a living by designing and constructing building systems in the New York city area. I've done everything from large boiler, chiller, and power plants to small residential HVAC systems. I love a challenge in every facet.
I'm also a practicing Professional Engineer, and am registered in NY, CT, PA, CO, and CA. I'm filed for NJ and DE, but they are in the works.
I also am trying to get a Alternative Energy company off the ground, as my second job. We are in the process of finalizing a patent submission for a new way to thermally convert waste, such as sewage and garbage, into ecologically friendly power. I'm sure I'll share more with everyone on that, if you're interested, and after we get the patent filed! hahaha.
And, of course, it has always been my dream to engineer components for a space endeavor. I used to tell everyone that I knew that I wanted to be the Engineering team leader for a mars colonization effort. I'm still young, so maybe I can get there from here!
I look forward to working with everyone. As far as my team strategy, and personality: I'm one of those guys that has no problem arguing a point, if we're talking about something technical. I may, at times, seem like I say things very abruptly, like "This is the way it is", but what I really want you to do is give me a real, logical, and engineering-based reasoning behind whatever it is that we're discussing. I don't pretend to know everything, and I expect everyone to devote their knowledge so that we can come up with something that will work, here.
GO TEAM FREDNET!
