Description:
This task is on hold pending more specific plans for the lunar bus
For the thermal design process, Marcel need answers to the following questions regarding the lunar bus:
- General geometry: What does the lunar bus look like?
- Measurements/dimensions: How big is it?
- Orientation: How is the lunar bus oriented relative to the Sun at the point halfway to the Moon?
- What is the position of eventual antenna dish?
- Lunar Lander: Where is the lunar lander? On top of the spacecraft?
- Distance from Earth surface in LEO and from Moon surface in LLO.
- Values for perigee and apogee if these are strongly elliptical + the ellipse main axis orientation towards the Sun.
- How is the lunar bus oriented towards the Sun and the Earth/Moon in this orbits.
- Propellant + tanks: What material and how much?
- Base structure: What material and how heavy?
- Eventual antenna dish: What material and how heavy?
- Solar panels: How big, how heavy, and which material?
- Batteries: what kind, how heavy?
- Other big and heavy elements: how heavy, which material?
Answers should be given as soon as possible.
