What work has your unit done since your last status report?
We have completed the Picorover group, now we are four members.
We are working with radiolinks and buses.
- We have initilizated radiolink test (comunication with SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) interface and obtain BER (Bit Error Rate)) with the new transceiver (Z430).
- Radiation diagram simulations and electrical schematichs of PicoSAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) Scanning subsystem done.
- We have PCBs and all components of Bus CAN-Do
We are concluding the first version of Picorover documentation validated by Petilo.
We have done a functional version of Demo1.3degrees.
We have first accelerometers to start the Picorover thrust and attitude control (3-axis, 18g).
How have your work and/or schedule deviated from the work planned at last report, if at all?
The Java applet is in standby until MCS Rover Director will be restarted. We hope Ross and Pablo will start soon.
We have decided discard the initial IMU due to provider problems. Now, we consider to integrate a new IMU developed by Raul.
We spected a report in April but due to high activity and some illness we can't do up to now. [Updated]
What work do you plan to do before the next status report?
- Test a radiolink demo for the new transceiver (Z430).
- Continue study of a nano-SAR Scanning subsystem and test preview PicoSAR antenna.
- Build bus CAN-Do boards and test it.
- Finish PicoRover blueprints.
What information, if any, do you need from other groups or team members to do this work?
Coordinate work with the SimRover group and the MCS Rover Director referred to the commond parameters for all Rovers. [Updated]
What other work, if any, must be completed before you can do this work?
What other resources such as equipment, infrastructure etc., if any, do you need to do this work?
- Buy gyros in order to complete the PicoRover IMU.
