LRB 25000 Laser Rangefinder
Ryan asked a few general questions about the LRB 25000 laser rangefinder:
What is its functionality in low pressure environments?
This was never tested. Potentially it can lead to overheating of some elements, but this should not be an immediate effect.
If the maximum range is 25km at atmospheric pressure, would that maximum range be increased in a UHV environment?
UHV should influence the maximum range
What kind of surface can be ranged at 25km?
Flat, not dark, very big size
And if the surface is made retroreflective, would that increase the maximum range?
It would, but the device measuring range is limited to 25Km
Is there a maximum repetition rate if external power could be supplied to the laser range finder?
There is no difference in repetition rate (1 pulse in 6 seconds with any power option)
