Objectives

For an complete overview of the GLXP requirements to win the prize refer to the Google Lunar X-Prize Guidelines.

Primary objectives

The primary objecitives are:

  • surviving the way to luna, including a rought landing
  • unloading the rover
  • establishing a wireless connection to the lunar landing vehicle
  • driving 501m within 14 earth days (approximatly a lunar day)
  • sending a HD panorama video

Secondary objectives

The secondary objectives are:

  • driving a distance of minimum 5km (best within one lunar day)
  • surviving a luna night (14 earth days) and then a second day
  • finding an historical artefact
  • the diversity prize should be ours
